When you call, you should have the following information available:
Operating System version (Windows 95, Windows 98, or
Windows NT)
Emulation program type and version
Type of IBM 3270 adapter
PC brand, model, RAM memory, amount of free disk space,
operating system, and operating system level (for example,
ServicePack Applied)
PC BIOS name and revision
Host system model and host operating system level
Workstation controller type and model
The specific steps and other details to reproduce your problem
Customer number
If you have an IBM System/390, your customer number is associated
with the host serial number. To find out what your customer number
is, call the IBM Support Center at 1-800-237-5511 and ask to be
routed to the control desk.
When you are connected to the control desk, inform the customer
support representative that you have an IBM mainframe and that you
need to access your customer number.
