preventing a tight seal.

Drain hose is kinked or clogged (Fig. 1).

Standpipe does not have a large enough diameter and
is slowing the draining process.

Machine is over soaped.

Over Sudsing

Too much detergent used.

Rattling And Clanking Noise

Foreign o
bjects such as coins or safety pins may be in
the tub.

Foreign objects may be in the pump.
•
Belt buckles and metal fasteners ar
e hitting the washer
tub during the washing cycle.
Vibrating Noise
•
Washer is not level and lock nuts may not be securely
tightened on front adjusting feet.
•
A rubber cap may be missing from one of the leveling
legs.
•
Washer may not be installed on
a solid, firm floor.
•
The four shipping brackets are still on the machine.
Thumping Noise
•
Heavy wash loads may produce a thumpi
ng noise at
the beginning of the spin cycle.
