Fitting the tube

The tube must not be kinked,
squashed or damaged in any way.
Do not remove the stopper at the
end of the tube until after it has been
fitted. If dirt were to get into the tube,
it could damage the pump.

Place the dispensing unit in the
position you have chosen for it.

Take the end of the tube from the
back of the washing machine and
position it so that it reaches the base
of the dispensing unit.
^ Take the container off its base and
unscrew the base.
^ Remove the stopper from the end of
the tube.
^
Attach the tube to the outlet
underneath the base using the hose
clip supplied.
If the tube is too long, it can be
looped behind the washing machine.
Extension tube
A 5 metre long extension tube is
available from your Miele dealer or the
Miele Spare Parts Department as an
optional extra.
If the 5 metre tube is used, an
increased dosage level of 215 ml
needs to be set when the liquid
detergent dispensing system is primed
- see "Before using for the first time".
