Try to rock the machine diagonally to
find which diagonal is firmer. If the di-
agonal from front left to rear right is
less firm, extend the front left leg. Ad-
just only the front left leg until both di-
agonals have the same stiffness.
When finished, turn and lock the
counternut on the front left leg.
All four counternuts must be tight
against the bottom of the machine.
In addition, check to see that the
legs were not inadvertently un-
screwed while tightening the
counternuts. Running a machine
that is not level or whose legs are
not tight may cause damage to both
the machine and its surrounding
area.
If a countertop is placed over the
washer, at least a 6 mm (
1
/4")gap
must be left between the top of the
machine and bottom of the counter-
top; and nothing should be within
12 mm (
1
/2") of any other side of the
washing machine.
Building under
When building this appliance under a
(continuous) countertop, ensure that
the machine has at least a 6 mm (1/4
inch) clearance. If it touches the cabi-
netry it may be noisy. As well, the top
machine cover may be removed if
desired.
Connections for electricity, water and
drainage should be installed in such a
way that they remain accessible when
the machine is in place.
