An unsatisfactory drying result
Problem Possible cause Remedy
The laundry is
still damp after a
drying cycle.
The load was too small for
the electronics to assess
the residual moisture
correctly.
In future dry small loads in a
timed drying programme.
The laundry has formed a
ring in the drum during the
spin because it was
distributed unevenly.
Turn the programme selector
to Stop.
Open the door and loosen
the laundry.
Start the drying programme
again using a lower spin
speed.
The laundry has formed a
ring in the drum during the
thermospin because it was
too damp or the spin
speed was set too high.
Warm laundry feels damp. Extend the cool down time, as
described in the Settings menu.
The laundry is
too damp or too
dry after a drying
cycle.
The required residual
moisture level is between
two drying levels.
Change the drying levels as
described in the Settings menu.
When laundry is
dry it feels hard
to the touch.
Too vigorous wash action. Programme in gentle action
and more water.
Not enough detergent was
used.
Increase detergent dose to
prevent limescale build up in
laundry.
No fabric conditioner was
used.
Use fabric conditioner in last
rinse.
There is still
water in the drum
after drying.
There is a blockage in the
water outlet.
Clean the drain filter and the
drain pump as described in

Opening the drum door in the
