General problems
Problem Possible cause Remedy
The machine shakes
during the spin cycle.
The machine feet are
not level.
Level the machine (see
"Installation and
connection").
The pump makes strange
noises.
This is not a fault. These noises occur at the end of a
pump sequence as a normal part of operation.
Large amounts of
detergent residue
remain in the detergent
dispenser drawer.
The water pressure is
too low.
Clean the filter in the water
inlet.
It may be useful to select
the Water plus extra
option.
Powder detergent
used in conjunction
with water softeners
tends to become
sticky.
Clean the detergent drawer.
In future, add washing
powder to the dispenser
drawer first, and then add
the water softener.
Fabric conditioner is not
completely dispensed or
too much water remains
in the § compartment.
The siphon tube is not
correctly positioned or
is clogged up.
Clean the siphon (see
"Cleaning and care -
Cleaning the detergent
dispenser drawer").
The display is in a
different language.
A different language
has been selected in
the Settings menu -
"Language J".
Set the language you want.
The flag symbol will guide
you.
Foam comes out of the
detergent dispenser
drawer while the Rinse
out fluff programme is
running.
Detergent residue
from the previous
washing programme
was still present in the
suds container.
It is important to dispense
the correct amount of
detergent. Use the Load/
Detergent button.
The duration fluctuates
in the display.
The machine continually monitors the washing and
drying process and adjusts the duration accordingly.
