ANTI-CALC FEATURE
There is a decalcification box inside the appliance, which can
absorb unsolvable calcium ion and send out solvable sodium ion so
that water can be softened, and the process of calcium depositing
would be much slower.
• Your appliance is provided with an anti-scale cartridge situated
in the tank.
• It is necessary to replace the cartridge every six months. However,
this period can vary according to the frequency of use of the iron
and of the scale rate in the water of your region. If the scale rate
is high, you will have to change the cartridge more frequently.
• BEFORE REMOVING THE CARTRIDGE, MAKE SURE THERE IS NO MORE
WATER IN THE TANK AND THAT THE IRON IS COLD.
• To remove the cartridge, turn the end of the cartridge
anticlockwise by a half-round (with a coin for example) and
separate it from the appliance by pulling it out.
• Introduce a new cartridge in the appliance and turn it clockwise
until it stops (see the mark on the appliance).
• To obtain a new cartridge, contact the nearest after-sales
service.
• NEVER USE THE APPLIANCE WITHOUT ITS ANTI-SCALE CARTRIDGE.
