1 Detergent dispenser drawer
2 Programme selector dial
The programme selector dial is divided into the
following sections:
Cottons,
Synthetics,
Delicates
Wool Hand washing
Special programmes from “Soak 30°” to “30
Minute wash
Reset/Off programme Off
The selector dial can be turned either clockwise or
anticlockwise.
Economy” position corresponds to an ENERGY
SAVING programme and “Cold” to a cold wash.
Before setting the dial to any position ensure that the
machine is turned to the “Off position.
Important!
At the end of the programme the selector dial
must be turned to position “Off”.

3 Spin button
Press this button repeatedly to change the spin speed
or to select position “None” (no spin), if you want
your laundry to be spun at a speed different from the
one proposed by the washing machine. The relevant
light will light up.
Spin speed
The following speeds are available for the different
fabrics:
Cottons, linen:
500/700/900 max 1200 r.p.m. (for the model JLWM
1202) and 1400 r.p.m. (for the model JLWM 1403);
Synthetics and wool:
500/700 max 900 r.p.m.;
Delicates and
30 Minute wash
:
500 max 700 r.p.m.
Position “None”
By selecting the option “None all the spinning
phases are cancelled.
If you select this option with programmes for cotton
and synthetics, the machine will perform some extra
rinses.
4 Option buttons
Depending on the programme, different functions can
be combined. These must be selected after choosing
the desired programme and before depressing the
Start/Pause” button.
When these buttons are pressed, the corresponding
pilot lights illuminate. When they are pressed again, the
pilot lights go out.
If an incorrect option is selected, the pilot lights flash for
about 2 seconds and the message “Err” is displayed.
Press these buttons to select the following options:
