@Use ofnon-phosphatedetergentswhich combinewith hardness
mineralsto Form-aprecipita~ewhich can be mistakenfor lint. Use
a phosphateor liquiddetergent;usewarmer washwater or soften
waterwith an instilled mechanicalsofteneror a packaged
water
softener.

Powderyresidue fromgranular detergentmayappear to be lint.
Predissolvegranulardetergentin hotwaterbefore addingto
washer; make sure detergentis completelydissolvedbefore
addingclothes; switchto liquid or cold waterdetergentor use

Pillingusually on polyester-cottonblends is caused by normal
wearand may look likelint. ~ming clothes inside-out
may ~el~.
$titic electricity caused by overdrying will cause attraction. Use
~abricsoftener in rinse cycle.
These are
sometimes called “Invisible Stains” because you may not
notice them before washingclothes. However, if ofiy soils are not
completely removed in wash cycle, the oily spo@may pickup diti
from the wash water. The spots will then be very visible. They are
not caused by the washer. VJashsynthetic garments as soon as
possible after wearing. Use more detergent than normal md hottest
water fabric can s~nd. If spots appear, rub in undiluted liquid
detergent, let stand 30 minutes and rewash.using hottest water fabric
