How Timed and Automatic Drying Differ
Automatic drying—The Automatic Dry Control
system continually senses air temperature in dryer
drum. Wet laundry keeps this air cool. When drum air
is warm enough, heat turns off. When the air cools,
heat turns back on. This on and off cycling may
happen a number of times (depending on the fabric,
load size and Cycle Selector setting). The Cycle
Selector advances (when the heat is
ofo until
it automatically turns dryer off.
Timed drying—You
select
the number of minutes
you wish the dryer to run and it turns off at the end
of this time period.
