Installation and service must be
performed by a qualified installer,
service agency or the gas supplier.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS:
F_Do not try to light a match, or cigarette,
or turn on any gas or electrical
appliance.
[] Do not touch any electrical switch; do
not use any phone in your building.
[] Immediatelg call gour gas supplier from
a neighbor's phone. Follow the gas
supplier's instructions carefullg.
[] If gou cannot reach gour gas supplier,
call the fire department.
]Clear the room, building or area of
all occupants.

Gas appliances can cause minor exposure to four of these substances, namelg benzene,carbon monoxide,
formaldehgde and soot, caused primarilg bg the incomplete combustion of natural gas or LPfuels.
Properlgadjusted drgers will minimize incomplete combustion. Exposureto these substances can be minimized
further bg properlg venting the drger to the outdoors.
PROPERINSTALLATION
This dryer must be properly installed and located in accordance with the Installation Instructions
before it is used. If you did not receive on Installation Instructions sheet, you can receive one bg
visiting ge.com or bg calling 800.GE.CARES (800.432.2737).
Properly ground dryer to conform with all
governing codesand ordinances. Followdetails
in Installation Instructions.
Install or store where it will not be exposedto
temperatures below freezing or exposed to
the weather
Connect to a properlu rated, protected and sized
power supplu circuit to avoid electrical overload.
Removeall sharp packing items and disposeof
all shipping materials properlu.
Exhaust/Ducting:

]Use onlu rigid metal 4" diameter ductwork
inside the dryer cabinet. Useonlu rigid metal
or flexible metal 4" diameter ductwork for
