PREVENT INJURY

tioninstructionsarepackedinthedryerforthe

INSTRUCTIONS for detailed grounding proce-
dures.Ifthedryerismovedtoanewlocation,
haveitcheckedandreinstalledbyaqualied
service person.
Topreventpersonalinjuryordamagetothe•
dryer,theelectricalpowercordofagasdryer
mustbepluggedintoaproperlygroundedand
polarized 3-prong outlet. The third grounding
prongmustneverberemoved.Neverground
thedryertoagaspipe.Donotuseanextension
cord or an adaptor plug.
ALWAYSdisconnectthedryerfromtheelectrical•
supplybeforeattemptinganyserviceorclean-
ing.Failuretodosocanresultinelectricalshock
orinjury.
Donotuseanytypespraycleanserwhenclean-•
ingdryerinterior.Hazardousfumesorelectrical
shockcouldoccur.
Topreventinjury,donotreachintothedryer•
ifthedrumismoving.Waituntilthedryerhas
stoppedcompletelybeforereachingintothe
drum.

exposed to the weather.
Athermallimiterswitchautomaticallyturnsoff•
themotorintheunlikelyeventofanoverheated
situation(electricdryersonly).Aservicetechni-
cian must replace the thermal limiter switch after
correcting the fault.
Failuretocomplywiththesewarningscould•
result in serious personal injuries.
