In addition to warranty claims against the seller based
on the sales contract and in addition to our appliance
warranty we shall be liable for payment of damages
under the following conditions:
1. If damage caused by water is due to a fault in our
AquaĆStop system, we shall compensate private
users.
2. This liability warranty shall apply for the service life
of the appliance.
3. A claim under the warranty can only be considered
provided AquaĆStop has been properly installed
and connected to the appliance according to our
instructions, including a properly installed
AquaĆStop extension (original accessory). Our
warranty does not cover defective supply lines or
fittings up to the AquaĆStop connection on the tap.
4. In principle, appliances which feature the
AquaĆStop system do not require monitoring
during operation or safeguarding afterwards by
turning off the tap. Only if you are away from home
for a prolonged period, e.g. several weeks holiday,
should you turn off the tap.
