16. Internet Services
View Document Centre Status with Internet Services
This section explains how to check the Document Centre
490/480/470/460 ST status using the Status pages. The status of the
device, such as a paper jam or ready to print, appears on the page.
You can also check to see if the paper trays are loaded or need
reloading. Any alert messages can be viewed to provide more
details on any fault or problem with the Document Centre.
The Document Centre’s general device, alert message, and tray
status can be displayed using Internet Services. You can also restart
the machine from the General Status Page.
Viewing General Status
Displays general information, such as whether the printer is
operational.
To view printer status:
1. Open your Web browser and enter the TCP/IP address of the
Document Centre in the Address or Location field.
2. Click the Status tab or click Status in the directory tree.
3. You may review status information at this screen.
4. If you suspect that the status of the device has changed, click
the Refresh Status button to reload status information from
the device.
