Connecting to a Desktop Computer
Before connecting your Pocket PC to a desktop computer, check the
follows.
■ ActiveSync has been installed on your desktop. (See Chapter 3.)
■ Make sure that the Pocket PC and the desktop computer are both
turned off.
■ The position of connecting port on the computer may differ according
to the computer type.
To Connect Using The Supplied USB Cradle:
1. Connect the USB cradle to your desktop computer as shown in the
illustration below.
2. Insert the Pocket PC into the USB cradle.
■ Make sure that the connector onn the cradle is inserted into the
port on the bottom of the Pocket PC. Data cannot be transferred if
the connection is not made.
■ When your Pocket PC is propery inserted into the cradle, your
Pocket PC will turn on automatically and ActiveSync will opennn
on your PC automatically.
