Formatting the SD card
Formatting (Initializing) the SD card.
In the setup menu...

Touch [Yes].
If you do not wish to format, touch
[ YES ].
If you touch [ YES ], [Are you sure?]
is displayed at the center of the
screen.

Touch [YES].
To cancel formatting, touch [NO].
If you touch [YES], [Reset frame
nomber?] is displayed at the center
of the screen.

Touch [YES] or [NO].
If you touch [YES], the frame No. of
image the next time you photograph
will start from 0001.
• Note that even protected images will be erased when the SD card is
formatted.
• SD card cannot be formatted when the SD card is set to write-protect.
