4. Select Media Applications and press the Select soft key or the
key.
5. Select Camera and press the Select soft key or the key.
6. Press the Options soft key, select Record video and press the Select
soft key or the key. The phone is now in video recording mode. The
LCD screen acts as the viewfinder.
7. Adjust the image by aiming the camera at the subject and framing the
video you want to take on the screen.
♦Press the Options soft key to configure settings or apply effects. For
more information, see “Video options in Record Mode” on page 78.
♦You can change the brightness using the left and right navigation
keys.
♦You can change the zoom using the up and down navigation keys.
8. Press the key to start the video.
9. When you are finished, Press the key to stop the video.
The video clip is saved in the Video folder. You can now preview it or
access the Options soft key menu. For more information on menu options,
see “Options After Recording a Video” on page 80.
Video options in Record Mode
In Record mode, you can use various options for the camera by pressing
the left soft key. The following options are available:
♦Record Video: Starts a video recording.
♦Effects: Allows you to choose a custom color tone for your video.
Choose from the following Effects modes.
No Effects: Cancels any effects applied to the camcorder image.
Black and White: Removes all color and display the picture in black
and white.
