Activate the mobile tracker
When someone inserts a new UIM card in your phone, the
mobile tracker feature will automatically send the contact
number to specied recipients to help you locate and
recover your phone.
Activate the mobile tracker
In Menu mode, select

Settings
→
Security.
Select

Mobile tracker
→
Settings.
Enter your password and press <

OK>.
Press <

Change> to activate the mobile tracker feature.
Scroll down to

Recipients and enter a phone number.
When you enter a phone number, you can add a
country code (if necessary).
Scroll down to

Sender and enter a sender’s name.
Press <

Save>
→
Accept.
Once the phone lock is enabled, you must enter the
password each time you turn on the phone.
If you forget your password, bring your phone to a •
Samsung Service Centre to unlock it.

Lock your UIM card
You can lock your phone by activating the PIN supplied
with your UIM card.
In Menu mode, select

Settings
→
Security.
Select

PIN lock.
Enter the password of your UIM card and press <

OK>.
Once the PIN lock is enabled, you must enter the UIM
password each time you turn on the phone.
