Digital Still Camera mode Mode appareil photo numérique
✤ You can use the MEMORY FORMAT functions to completely
delete all images and options on the Memory Stick, including
protected images.
✤ The format function restores the Memory Stick to its initial state.
✤ The Memory Stick supplied with this camcorder has been
formatted already.
Attention
✤ If you execute the MEMORY FORMAT function, all images will
be erased completely and erased images cannot be recovered.
1. Set the mode switch to MEMORY STICK.
2. Set the power switch to PLAYER mode.
3. Press the MENU button.
4. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight MEMORY and press the
ENTER button.

The sub menu will appear.
5. Select FORMAT from the list and press the ENTER button.
6. “ALL FILES ARE DELETED! FORMAT REALLY?” appears on the
screen.
7. Using the MENU DIAL, select the item.

NO : To return to previous menu
■
YES : To start formatting.
8. Press the ENTER button.
9. To exit the menu, press the MENU button.

■
If you want to format the Memory Stick on your PC, use only the
“Memory Stick formatter” supplied with the software CD.
Formatting the Memory Stick
✤ Vous pouvez utiliser la fonction MEMORY FORMAT (formatage de
la mémoire) pour effacer l’intégralité des images et des options
mémorisées sur une carte Memory Stick, images protégées
comprises.
✤ Le formatage de la carte Memory Stick permet de restaurer son
état d’origine.
✤ La carte Memory Stick fournie avec le caméscope est déjà formatée.
Avertissement
✤ La fonction MEMORY FORMAT entraîne la suppression de
toutes les images sans possibilité de récupération.
1. Placez le sélecteur de mode sur MEMORY STICK.
2. Réglez le commutateur sur PLAYER.
3. Appuyez sur la touche MENU.
4. À l’aide de la molette MENU, sélectionnez MEMORY et appuyez
sur la touche ENTER.

Le sous-menu s’affiche.
5. Sélectionnez FORMAT dans la liste et appuyez sur la touche
ENTER.
6. Le message «ALL FILES ARE DELETED! FORMAT REALLY ?»
apparaît à l’écran.
7. À l’aide de la molette MENU, sélectionnez l’option souhaitée.

NO (non): permet de retourner au menu précédent.
■
YES (oui): permet de démarrer le formatage.
8. Appuyez sur la touche ENTER.
9. Pour quitter le menu, appuyez sur la touche MENU.
Important
■
Si vous souhaitez formater la carte Memory Stick sur le PC,
utilisez le «Memory Stick formatter» (Formateur Memory Stick)
fourni avec le CD du logiciel.
