Stop Action Pause
• During playback, press /D•S•E
(PAUSE on remote) to “stop the
action” and view one frame of the
tape.
•
Press /D•S•E (PAUSE on remote)
again to return to normal playback.
Visual Searching
• During playback, press and hold
55/EDIT – (55 REW/SCAN on
remote) if you want to visually
search the tape in reverse.
• During playback, press and hold
66/EDIT + (66 REW/SCAN on
remote) if you want to visually
search the tape forward.
• Release the button to return to
normal playback.
Notes: During pause and search operations, it
is normal for streaks to appear in the picture.
The sound is muted during pause and search.
When you reach the end of the tape during
playback, the tape is automatically rewound.
Playback Features
Caution: Pause is designed for
momentary interruptions and should
not be used for an extended period of
time. If the camcorder remains in
pause for more than five minutes, it
will enter the stop mode.
