Don't leave stationary images, such as those generated from stock
market reports or video games, on-screen fi_r more than 10 min-
utes. Still patterns can scar the TV causing permanent damage to
the picture tube.
If you plan to place speakers next to the TV, make sure they are
magnetically shielded. Ordinary speakers wi]l cause distol_ion in
the picture due to their strong magnets. This distortion, however,
will not harm the picture tubes.
For maximum enjoyment and safe operation of your MITSUBISHI
Color TV, please read the "IMPORTANT SAPEGUARDS" carefully
and apply them properly.
To keep your TV from toppling in the event o:fan earthquake, you
can use the clamp attached to the back of tlhe television to secure it
to the wall. Simply run a cord or rope through the clamp, l_hen
attach the rope to the wall directly behind the television.
