thetrunk,andopensthepowerwindows.

 • Toextendthekey,pressthereleasebutton.

 • Toretractthekey,pressthereleasebutton

andfoldthekeybackintotheholder.

KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM

STARTING THE ENGINE WITH THE ADVANCED KEY

While carrying the Advanced Key you can…

 • StarttheenginebypushingintheStartknob.Whenthekey

indicatorilluminatesGREEN,turntheStartknob.ShuttheengineOFF

byturningtheStartknobtotheACCpositionandthenpushingthe

knobinandturningtotheLockposition.

 • Thekey

indicatorlightwillshowGREENwhentheadvancedkey

isdetected.IfthekeyindicatorlightashesGREEN,theadvancedkey

transmitterbatterypowerislow.TheindicatorturnsREDwhenthekey

isnotdetectedorthetransmitterbatteryisdead.IfilluminatedRED,

usetheauxiliarykey(see“EmergencyEngineStart/VehicleEntry”).

Note:EMERGENCYVEHICLEENTRY/ENGINESTART

Iftheadvancedkeycannotbeusedduetoamalfunctionordeadadvancedkey

battery,usetheauxiliarykeytolock/unlockthedoorsandtostarttheengine.

Tostarttheengine,removethestartknobcoverbypressingbothsidereleasebuttons

whilepulling.Inserttheauxiliarykeyintothekeycylinderandturnittostarttheengine.
