Notes on the Cord Plug

Thisappliancehasapolarizedplug.Toreducetheriskofelectricshock,thisplugisintendedto

fitintoapolarizedoutletonlyinoneway.Iftheplugdoesnotfitfullyintoanelectricaloutlet,

reversetheplug.Ifitstilldoesnotfit,contactaqualifiedelectrician.

Donotattempttomodify

thepluginanyway.

A. Ashorterpower‐supplycord(ordetachedpower‐supplycord)isprovidedtoreducetherisk

resultingfrombeingentangledinortrippingoveralongercord.

B. Longerdetachablepower‐supplycordsorextensioncordsareavailableandmaybeusedifcare

isexercisedintheiruse.

Ifalongdetachablepower‐supplycordsorextensioncordisused:

1. Themarkedelectricalratingofthedetachablepower‐supplycordorextensioncordshould

3. Thelongercordshouldbearrangedsothatitwillnotdrapeoverthecountertoportable
