Remote On/Off Switch
TheremoteOn/Offswitchinputislocatedattherearofthejoystickontherightsideand
allowsthepowerswitchtobeoperatedbyanabilityswitch(normallyopenmomentary
switchwithmonoplug).TousetheremoteOn/Offfeature,theDriveSelect/On/Offswitch
mustbeintheOnposition.Eachactivationoftheabilityswitchwillalternatelyturnthe
joystickOnorOff.
Mode Switch
NOTE:Forthisprocedure,refertoFIGURE 5.4onpage 40.
Themodeswitchisusedtoselecttheoperatingmodeforthewheelchair.Themode
switchislocatedonthejoystick.Amodeswitchisneededwheneveranyofthefollowing
operatingmodesareprogrammed:
• EnvironmentalControls(ECU1,ECU2,ECU3,
ECU4)*
•3SpeedModeinDigital3Speed(Slow,Medium,Full)
•LatchedModes
•SleepMode
•RIMMode*
•RemoteDriveSelectionMode*
• Tilt/ReclineMode*
• InformationCenterDisplaySelection(doesnotrequireResetactivationatpowerup)
Ifanyoftheabovemodesareselected,thecontrolwillrequireactivationoftheswitch
immediatelyafter
thepowerswitchisturnedOninordertoenterthedrivemode.The
secondlineoftheLCDwilldisplay‐PRESSRESET.
*NOTE:Inthesemodes,StandbySelectallowstheresetswitchtobebypassedforusersunableto
activatetheswitch.
Memory Card Slot
Thememorycardslotisusedwiththebasicorprofessionalmemorycardforsavingor
readingwheelchairparameters.
