Cabling
the
computer
If
your
computer
cables
and
connector
panel
have
color-coded
connections,
match
the
color
of
the
cable
end
with
the
color
of
the
connector.
For
example,
match
a
blue
cable
end
with
a
blue
panel
connector,
a
red
cable
end
with
a
red
connector,
and
so
on.
Attention:
To
prevent
damage
to
equipment,
the
power
cord
should
be
connected
last.
The
following

shows
the

(I/O)

the
rear
of
the
computer.

Depending
on

video
adapter

convert
signals

provide

additional
connection
point

operation.

Turning
on
the
computer
When
the
computer
is
connected
to
an
ac
power
source
but
is
not
turned
on,
the
operating
system
does
not
run,
and
all
core
logic
is
shut
down;
however,
the
computer
can
respond
to
remote
requests
to
turn
on
the
computer.
The
power-on
LED
flashes
to
indicate
that
the
computer
is
connected
to
an
ac
power
source
but
is
not
turned
on
(standby
mode).
Notes:
1.
Turn
on
all
external
devices,
such
as
the
monitor,
before
turning
on
the
computer.
2.
The
power-on
LED
on
the
front
of
the
computer
is
lit
when
the
computer
is
on
and
while
it
is
powering-up.
3.
You
can
install
a
circular
disk
over
the
power-control
button
to
prevent
accidental
manual
power-off.
This
disk,
known
as
the
power-control
button
shield,
comes
with
your
computer.
