Using single- and double-sided DVD-RAM media
DVD-RAM media is available in single-sided and double-sided versions.
2.6 GB and 4.7 GB versions are single-sided and are available in Type I or Type
II cartridges. 5.2 GB and 9.4 GB versions are double-sided and are available in
Type II cartridges. To access the data on both sides of the media, you must
remove the cartridge from the drive, turn it over, and re-insert it in the drive.
For convenience, double-sided cartridges are labeled side A and side B.
