PROBLEM CAUSE CORRECTION
Engine difficult to start
or
Engine runs erratically
or
Engine will not run at full speed
Stale fuel Drain fuel tank. Fill with fresh fuel.
Dirt in fuel tank or out of fuel Drain and clean fuel tank. Fill with fresh
fuel.
Carburetor out of adjustment Contact an Authorized Husqvarna
service dealer.
Fouled spark plug Clean and set spark plug gap.
Dirty air filter Clean or replace air filter.
Engine smokes excessively Dirty air filter Clean or replace air filter.
Cutting blade will not rotate
Debris interferes with blade Clean debris from blade.
Loose blade Tighten blade nut.
Damaged V−belt Replace V−belt.
Blade will not cut properly
Damaged quill bearings Replace the quill assembly. Contact an
Authorized Husqvarna service dealer.
Damage or worn blade Replace the blade.
Excessive vibration Loose parts Stop engine immediately. Tighten all
fasteners. If vibration continues,
contact an Authorized Husqvarna
service dealer.
