Using CD-ROM

The DeskNote computer comes standard with a removable 5.25” CD-ROM

module. It is labeled drive D: and may be used as a boot device if properly

set.

To insert a CD, press the

Eject Button

and place the CD into the

Disc

Tray

with label-side facing up. Push the CD tray in and you are ready to

start. The

Busy Indicator

will light up while data is being accessed or

while an audio CD is playing. When the power is unexpectedly interrupted,

insert an instrument such as a straightened paper clip into the

Emergency

Eject Hole

to eject the tray (Figure 2-15).
