ASSEMBLY
Attaching Base Plate to Stand
1. Choose the proper base plate to use for assembling the
mount. For a freestanding mount use the larger
freestanding base plate (C) and for a wall mount use the
smaller wall mount base plate (D).
2. Set base plate (C or D) flat on the ground with the film-
protected surface facing up. Remove and discard protective
film.
3. Set column assembly (A) on top of proper base plate (C or
D) and line up the holes on the column base with the
corresponding holes on the base plate (C or D).

4. Position Codec cover base plates (G) above outside holes
on the column base. (See Figure 1)
5. Install six 5/16-18 x 1/2" button head cap screws (N) to
fasten column assembly (A) to base plate (C or D) and
Codec cover base plates (G). (See Figure 1)
6. Install two 5/16-18 x 1/2" button head cap screws (N) into
the rear holes behind the column assembly to secure
column assembly to base plate. (See Figure 2)
7. Install four 5/16-18 x 1/4" button head cap screws (M) to
secure the two gusset plates (J for freestanding, F for wall
mount) to the column assembly. (See Figures 2 and 3)
8. Install four 5/16-18 x 1/2" button head cap screws (N) to
secure the two gusset plates (J for freestanding, F for wall
mount) to the base plate. (See Figures 2 and 3)
9. Install back column (B) to column assembly (A). (See Figure
2)
