To unlock outlets 2, 3, 4 and 8, enter:
upgrade
The upgrade command is available only to the administrator. You may either upgrade or boot
the firmware.
NOTE: For details on upgrading using the upgrade command or using the reboot command, see Upgrading the
PM IPDU firmware on page 11.
Syntax
upgrade <IPDU#>|<IPDU_ID>
Arguments
If you wish to upgrade more than one IPDU, it is recommended that you upgrade the most remote
IPDU first.
Examples
To upgrade IPDU 1, type:
ver
The ver command shows the current software version and hardware model information of the
selected PM IPDU.
Syntax
ver [<IPDU#>|<IPDU_ID>]

<outlet_string>
Outlet number, such as “5”, outlet name such as “sunfire”, or group of
outlets such as “1, 3-5”
all
Unlocks all outlets in the PM IPDU or PM IPDU daisy chain
pm>unlock 2-4,8

IPDU number in a daisy chain
<IPDU_ID>
Identification string previously set by the id command
