The remote
does not ring
I cannot hear
a dial tone
PROBLEM
ITEMS TO CHECK
• Make sure that the Ringer is “On”.
• Ensure that the Telephone Cord and the AC
Adapter are installed correctly.
• Recharge the Remote Battery by firmly placing it in
the Remote Charging Well .
• Disconnect the AC Adapter from the power source and
reconnect it in a known good outlet.
• Use the Remote in an area closer to the Base .
• Make sure your Remote Rechargeable Battery is
securely seated in the Charging Well and/or fully
charged. The Battery may need to be charged for
8 hours prior to first use.
• Check that all cords are correctly connected and firmly
in place.
• Adjust the Dual Function Receive Volume Control Key
up to increase the volume.
• Make sure the Remote is within range of the Base.
• Separate and then reconnect the Rechargeable Battery
and Remote .
• Return the Remote to the Charging Well for 5 seconds
to re-establish a communication link.
