Whirlpool LGR3622B Clothes Dryer User Manual

Using dryer fabric softeners
Dryer fabric softeners are recommended for
reducing static cling (static can also be re-
duced by not overdrying) and for softening
fabrics. Always follow package instructions
carefully.
l
Put fabric softener sheet on top of the load
before atartlng the dryw. Do not add a
fabric softener sheet after the cycle has
started. Instant heat can cause the fabric
softener to spot fabrics.
l
Clear, grease-like spots can result from the
fabric softener sheet becoming tangled in an
item during tumbling. If fabric softener
causes a stain, wet the stain and rub with
liquid detergent or bar soap, rewash.
l
Some fabric softeners can dog the lint
screen and slow drying. Use fabric softeners
labeled as dryer safe.
Saving energy
l
Dry only full loads without overdrying.
l
Avoid overloading dryer, adding wet items to
a partly dried load, or opening the door
unnecessarily.
l
Plan your laundry to dry one load after
another. A warm dryer shortens drying time.
l
Shorten drying times by exhausting dryer
properly and cleaning exhaust duct as
needed.
-Keep the lint screen clean.
- Use your dryer in a room where room air
temperature is above 45’F (7°C).
-Sort loads by fabric weight and type.
