Starttng your washer
Before starting your washer, be sure you have measured and
added detergent, put in a properly sorted load, and have used
other laundry aids only as recommended in your “Laundry Guide.’

To change the setting on the LOAD
SIZE SELECTOR, turn the knob to RESET

Then turn the knob to point at a
setting that describes the size of
the load you want to wash
l
Set the knob anywhere on or
between HAND WASHABLE (a few
small items) and EX LARGE (a full
load).
See the “Laundry Guide” for details
on load sizes.

Select wash and rinse water tem-
peratures by pushing a button.
l
This drawing shows a warm wash
(top temperature) and cold rinse
(bottom temperature] selection.
Recommended wash tempera-
tures are in your “Laundry Guide”
and printed under the washer lid.
LOAD SIZES AND WATER LEVELS
Save energy Use less than a full tub
of water when you have less than a full
load to wash.
Be careful to use enough water for
the load. Too big a load ortoo little
water can result in a wash that isn’t
clean or can even
tear items.
