Caring for your steam system
Before cleaning the appliance, make sure that it is
unplugged and the soleplate has cooled.
Do not use any cleaning or descaling agents.
- The soleplate : to clean the soleplate, use a damp
cloth. If you use starch, spray it onto the side
opposite to the one you are ironing and clean the
soleplate more frequently.
Warning :
• do not use any household products to clean
the soleplate,
• never put the iron under the tap.
- The base : from time to time, clean the plastic parts of
the appliance with a slightly damp, soft cloth. There is
no need to empty the water tank every time you have
finished ironing.
Warning :
• Never put the case of your steam system
under a running tap.
Storing your steam system
1. Unplug the system.
2. Place the iron on the iron rest.
3. Allow the iron (and the iron rest) to cool for
30 minutes.
You can now put your steam system away.
