External water drain
When drying is in progress, condensed
water is pumped into the condensed
water container through the drain hose
at the back of the dryer. The
condensed water can also be drained
directly if the machine is installed near
a sink or a stand pipe so that the
condensed water container does not
have to be emptied.
The drain hose (approx. 6 ft [2 m] long)
is stored in the dryer. It must be pulled
out of the dryer to its full extent to
ensure proper external draining.
Maximum delivery head: 4 ft (1.2 m).
If the hose is not long enough, an
extension hose is available as an
optional accessory from the Miele.
