USING YOUR WASHER
• Emptypockets.Loosechange,buttons,oranysmallobject
can pass under the washplate and become trapped, causing
unexpected sounds.
•Sortitemsbyrecommendedcycle,watertemperature,
and colorfastness.
• Separateheavilysoileditemsfromlightlysoiled.
• Separatedelicateitemsfromsturdyfabrics.
• Donotdrygarmentsifstainsremainafterwashing,because
heat can set stains into fabric.
• Treatstainspromptly.
• Closezippers,fastenhooks,tiestringsandsashes,and
remove non-washable trim and ornaments.
• Mendripsandtearstoavoidfurtherdamagetoitems
during washing.
Helpful Tips:
• Whenwashingwater-prooforwater-resistantitems,load
evenly. See “Cycle Guide” for tips and more information
on using the Bulky cycle.
• Usemeshgarmentbagstohelpavoidtanglingwhenwashing
delicate or small items.
• Turnknitsinsideouttoavoidpilling.Separatelint-takersfrom
lint-givers. Synthetics, knits, and corduroy fabrics will pick up
lint from towels, rugs, and chenille fabrics.
NOTE: Always read and follow fabric care labels instructions to
avoid damage to your garments.
1. Sort and prepare your laundry
Load garments in loose heaps evenly around basket wall.
Do not wrap large items such as sheets around the washplate;
load them in loose piles around the sides of the basket.
Try mixing different sized items to reduce tangling.
IMPORTANT: Items need to move freely for best cleaning and
to reduce wrinkling and tangling.
