15 Combo Washer-Dryer Owner’s Manual
Warning — to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to person, read the
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS before operating this appliance.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Make sure Washer-Dryer is turned off. (Power Indicator light should be off).
2. Separate clothes into cottons, permanent press and delicates.
3. Load clothes of the selected type loosely into the drum. If you are only washing clothes, you can
fill the drum. However, if you are washing and then drying, please don’t load clothes more than
2/3 full.
4. Close the Washer-Dryer door. You will hear a click when it is correctly closed.
5. Add detergent to the center compartment of the dispenser (2). Use low-sudsing detergent –
about 1 tablespoon. If desired, you can add pre-wash detergent, fabric softener and bleach as
shown in the diagram (see C on page 13).
6. Choose a Wash program by turning the washer knob clockwise to the desired setting on the
control panel. (See chart on page 15).
7. Turn the Dryer knob to the desired amount of minutes for drying. It is important not press ½ heat
button for high temp. dry cycle and press ½ heat button for lower temp. dry cycle.
8. If you have a light load or ½ load of clothes, press the ½ load button.
9. For delicates only (wool, silk, etc.) if you do not want the drum to spin, press the no spin button.
Keep in mind that the clothes will retain a fair amount of water.
10. Review these steps and check all the settings on the control panel before starting the machine.
11. Press the Power button. The indicator light will come on and in a few seconds, you will hear the
cycle begin.
12. When the Washer-Dryer has completed the cycle, the machine will stop automatically, although
the indicator light will remain on until you manually press out the Power button.
Note: The door switch of the Washer-Dryer is electronic and locks automatically during the Wash
cycle. You must wait for 2 minutes after the Wash cycle has stopped to open the door. Please do not
try to force the door open. Breaking of the door handle is not covered by warranty.
You can open the door any time during the Dry cycle without waiting.
STARTING THE WASHER-DRYER
Starting your washer-dryer in the right way is important for the quality of your wash, to help prevent
future problems and enhance life expectancy of your appliance. Once you have loaded your
washer-dryer and added the detergent together with any fabric conditioner, always check that:
7. The door is closed correctly. 2) The plug is secured in the socket. 3) The water supply is turned
on.
Choose the desired program
The program is selected according to the type of garments that need to be washed. To choose a
program, refer to the table on page 15, then:
1) Turn Washer knob until the selected program is aligned with the mark on the knob,
2) Turn Dryer knob to the desired position,
3) If necessary use buttons ½ Load and ½ Heat.
4) Press the Power button.
At the end of the wash cycle…
Turn the washer-dryer off by pressing Power button. You can now open the washer-dryer door safely.
After having removed the freshly cleaned laundry, leave the door open to allow air circulation inside
the drum. Remember that, in the event of a power failure, or should the washer-dryer switch itself off,
the program chosen will remain in memory.
