and folded in order to obtain a booklet A5 (+/- 148.5 mm
width x 210 mm height). When folding, make sure you
keep the good numbering when you turn the pages of

FILLING THE WATER TANK DURING USE
When the water tank (7) is empty, the pilot light (12) lights up.
As the water tank of this appliance is not under pressure, you can
refill it during use. To do so, just proceed as described above in the
"Filling with water" section. You can resume ironing immediately.
STEAM IRONING
Before plugging in, always check that the steam control trigger (1) is
not locked in pressed position by switch (2).
• Fill the water tank as described above with water and insert the
mains plug into a wall socket.
• As indicated on the temperature dial and in the table above,
steam ironing is only possible at higher ironing temperatures, so
set the dial to or .
• Place the iron on the iron rest.
• Turn the temperature control dial to “steam ironing”, meaning
when you reach the steam symbol by adjusting the temperature.
• Completely unwind the cord and plug into outlet.
• If you intend to iron with steam, press both switches (9) and (10).
The steam indicator light (11) will be off until the required
temperature is reached. Wait for the light (11) to go on before
steam ironing. The temperature indicator light of the iron (4) will be
on and will go off as soon as the desired temperature is reached.
• During ironing this temperature indicator light will come on from
time to time. When this happens, the soleplate is being heated-up
to the required temperature again. You can continue ironing.
• Press the steam button (1) to release steam from the soleplate of
the iron (burst of steam). Release the button and the steam will
stop. If you want a continuous jet of steam, hold the steam button
down or lock it down with switch (2).
• When ironing, the pilot light of the iron (4) will go on and off from
time to time. This means that the temperature of the iron is
regulated by its thermostat. You can continue ironing.
• When you use a lot of steam in a very short time, the steam output
is lightly reduced until your appliance produces enough steam to
