Hotpoint TS14 Clothes Dryer User Manual

Your Hotpoint Tumble Dryer needs
very little attention. The following
simple steps will keep it performing
well.
When finished. Switch off electricity
and remove plug, close the door.
After each load. Turn the drum by
hand to check that small items like
handkerchiefs do not get missed.
Important
Cleaning the Filter: It is essential
that the lint is removed from the
filter every time the Dryer is used.
Failure to do this will result in
poor drying performance and may
lead to mechanical or electrical
breakdown.
Occasionally wash the filter in tepid
water and lightly use an old toothbrush to
remove any lint present after normal
cleaning. Ensure filter is completely
dry before re-using.
Every week. Wipe out the drum with
a damp cloth.
As necessary. Clean exterior metal
and plastic surfaces with a damp
cloth or silicon polish only.
Do not use abrasive cleaners,
scouring agents, acids, chlorine
bleach or metal polish to clean any
part of the machine. These could
damage the machine.
Hotpoint strongly recommends that
all of its appliances are regularly
checked for electrical and
mechanical safety.
Lubrication: Your tumble dryer uses
special bearing components.
Lubrication by the user is not
necessary and must not be
attempted .
