@Incorrect sortingofclothes. Separatelint-producers(suchasterry towelsandchenille)
fromlint-receivers(suchasman-madefabrics,velveteen,corduroy).

poundofdry clothes.
@Useofnon-phosphatedetergentswhichcombinewithhardnessmineralsto forma
precipitatewhichcan be mistakenforlint. Useaphosphateorliquiddetergent;use
warmer washwateror sofienwaterwifhan installedmechanicalsofieneror a packaged
watersoftener.
~Powderyresiduefromgranulardetergentmayappear tobelint. Predissolvegranular
detergentinhotwaterbeforeaddingtowasher; makesure detergentiscompletely
dissolvedbeforeaddingclothes;switchto liquidor coldwaterdetergentorusewarmer
washwater. Seepage 13.

@Toomuch bleach. Use correct amountof bleach accordingtopackagedirections.

@Incorrectuseof fabric softener.If used inwashcycle,sofienersmayreactwith
detergentto create a white deposit. Use sofienersinrinse cycleonlyunlesspackage
spwifies addingtowashcycle.Use Fabric SofienerDispenser. Seepage 8.
@Pillingusually on polyester-cottonblends is caused by norm,alwear andmaylook like
lint. Turningclothesinside-outmayprovidesome help.
*Staticelectricity caused byoverdryingwillcause attraction. Use fabric sofienerin
rinsecycle.
Thesearesometimescalled“InvisibleStains”becauseyoumaynotnoticethembefore
washingclothes.However,ifoilysoilsarenotcompletelyremovedinwashcycle,the
oilyspotsmaypickupdirtfromthewdshwater.Thespotswillthenbeveryvisible.They
are
notcausedbythewasher.Washsyntheticgarmentsassoonaspossibleafterwearing.
Usemoredetergentthannormalandhottestwaterfabriccanstand.If spotsappear,rubin
undilutedliquiddetergent,letstand30minutesandrewashwithextradetergent
using
hottestwaterfabric can stand. Use Regular Cycle withExtra Rinse. Seepage5.
