at regularintervals-about 4 to 6
months-and removeany lintthat
may have accumulated.No toolsare
needed,simplygrasp agitatorwith
both handsand pull straightup
sharply.The slottedsectionat the
top of the metalshafthas a light
coatingof lubricantto preventparts
stickingtogether.If thisarea appears
to be dry,applya lightcoatof grease
or petroleumjelly aroundthe slotted
sectionof the shaftbeforereplacing
the agitator.Do notovergrease.
When replacing the agitator,
carefully lower straight down
onto the shaft so that it fits into
the slots. Then apply downward
pressure until agitator snaps into
its normal 130sition.

~Soak filter pan in a preheated
160°F.(71“C.)solutionof half
vinegar and half water for 15
minutes.Then brush each side of
pan with a stiffbristle brush while
flushingwith running water.
CAUTIONS:

container.Vinegarcan damage
porcelain.
