Be sure water supply is shutoff at
faucetsand drain all water from
hosesif weather will be below
freezing.

with both hands and pull straight
up sharply.The slottedsection at
the top of the metal shafihas alight
coating of lubricant to preventparts
stickingtogether. If this area
appears to be dry, apply alight coat
of grease or petroleumjelly around
thewslotteds;ction ofthe shafi
before replacing the agitator.Do
not overgrease. Excess grease may
getinto~lothesload.
Whenreplacingtheagitator,
carefullylowerstraightdownonto
the shah so thatitfitsintotheslots.
Thenapplydownwardpressure
untilagitatorsnapsintoitsnormal
position.
