1. UseHot Wash-up to 150°F—

2. Under normal soilconditions,
washin water above80°F(27“C).
Thisgenerallymeansusingthe
Warm Wash temperature setting
on your washer—temperatures
approximately90°Fto 110”For
hand comfortable. If you notice
that soilhas accumulatedafter
severalconsecutivewashings,use
Hot Wash occasionally,if safe for
fabrics.
3. Tryto washlessoften. Save
articlesof the sametypeof fabric
untilyou havea full load.
4. If you must washsmallerloads,
adjust the amount of water.Small
loadsshouldhavelowerwater
levels.
5. Washin off-peak utilityhours.
Yourlocalutilitycan tellyou
whichare the off-peak hours.
EMPORTANTNOTE: If your
clothesand householditemsdon’t
look cleanand fresh after washing,
what are you apt to do? Youwill
probably then rewashthem ... and
that meansyou’llwasteenergy.
Rememberto sort your clothes
carefully,and load themproperly,
selectcorrectcycles,useenough
detergentand choosea water
temperaturewarmenough to
releaseand get rid of soil.
