The door does not open
while the appliance is
switched on.
The door is locked due to
high water level or high
temperature.
Wait till the programme has
finished, and the END
(EINDE, FIN) indicator light is
on.
However, if you still need to
open the door:
Set the programme selector
to OFF (UIT, ARRET); Turn the
programme selector to PUMP
OUT (POMPEN, VIDANGE).
Press the START/PAUSE
(START/PAUZE, MARCHE/
PAUSE) button.
When the water has been
pumped out, the door can be
opened.
Mains power failure
while a programme is
running (all indicators
are off).
Power may have been cut off
by the electricity supplier.
(the door remains locked for
around 2 minutes, for safety
reasons.)
The programme will con-
tinue, when power is re-
stored.
If the washing has to be
taken out during the power
failure:
Turn the programme selec-
tor to OFF (UIT, ARRET).
Carry out an emergency
drain operation (see „Carry-
ing out an emergency drain
operation“).
After about 2 minutes, the
door can be opened by pull-
ing the handle.
Leftover detergent
builds up in the deter-
gent dispenser drawer.
The water supply tap is not
fully open.
Open the supply tap fully.
The filter in the water inlet
hose coupling, at the tap or
at the appliance, is clogged.
Close the water supply tap.
Disconnect the inlet hose
from the tap and from the
appliance. Clean the filter.
The rinse water is not
clear.
The cause may be that the
detergent is high in silicates.
There are no adverse effects
on rinse results; if preferred,
use a liquid detergent.
