I have a super capacity washer LA5558XT and the clothes don't spin during the spin cycle. Water will still drain and it sounds like it is spinning, but it is not. Due to the old age of the washer, I do not want to pay for a repair, but if it seems like it could be a simple part and repair that my husband can manage, I thought it was worth looking into.
