My tricity bendix aw1001 w washing machine is play...

My tricity bendix aw1001 w washing machine is playing up. When pressing the start button after selecting the program it makes a noise as if it were to start, but nothing happens. This happened once before, but rectified itself when showing an electrician the problem.
