Question About Splendide Washer/Dryer WD802M
dryer cuts out intermittently...

For the first time yesterday the dryer unit cut out before the drytime was complete. Then after some time it started up again but only for a few seconds. Have chwcked vents and ducts all look clear. Power is good. Thermostat is only item we can think is bad. Any ideas welcome.
