5 Make sure that your washer is not set on delicate. Delicate cycle will not spin high it will only spin slow or normal speed. If the cycle isn't on delicate and the problem is still persistent , reconnect your valves to assure the pressure of the water is flowing through your washer at the appropriate speed. If the valves are receiving minimum pressure through the washer then it will not spin at a high speed.
