My machine has stopped after 1 minute into cycle a...

My machine has stopped after 1 minute into cycle and is flashing E 50 What does this mean. Have redistributed clothes which didn't fit. Have taken clothes (wet out of machine) and it is still saying E 50 What can I do to fix? Thanks
