Question About Samsung Washer None

My washing machine is 18 months old and according to the manual, it filter needs to be cleaned at least once a year. But in order to get to the filter, I have to open the bottle front flap or panel. Instructions from the manual do not tell you how to open it. I have asked Samsung to help, but they don't know how either. Anybody can help?
